Magnetic sword and their support (gauging tubes) are a French specificity. This level-indicating device allows liquid levels to be measured without having to open the manhole, mandatory on all the compartments of a measuring tank. It’s compliant with the electronic sealing for the production of “mixed” tanks.
Benefits:
– To comply with the requirements of the Directive 2014/32/EU (MID)
– To reduce maintenance
– To allow tanks to be calibrated and measured every 6 years
– To allow multi-product measurement : gasoline and distillates
– A single magnetic sword for all compartments (and as many tubes as compartments)
With the increasing number of semi-trailers being deployed and the generalization of the versatility of existing trucks (distillates & gasoline), the magnetic sword and gauging tube are an advantageous device to have and widely widespread.
Thanks to our clients for their trust !
